Shugo Chara OC Chapter 1-The Boy With The Violin

"Why are there weird looking eggs in my bed?!"  Kaede said with a confused look on her face.  There under her purple duvet sat 3 eggs . One of them was red and had a control pad that you'd see on a DS going around it. Another was white and had musical notes all on it. The last egg was black; had cat ears on it. She stared at them in a worried way, not knowing what to do or say. She poked one of the eggs then quickly took it her finger away.
"It's warm," She gasped "It might hatch soon." She walked over to her table and took out a few tissues from the box then she opened her bag and stuffed it in her bag on top of her books, making it like a little nest; she placed the 3 eggs inside it.
"It would be much safer if I took them with me to school" She thought as she  closed her bag.
"Better get ready for school" She thought.


As she went downstairs, she saw her mum, dad and brother eating breakfast… It was fried egg with bacon.
"Why do we have to eat eggs today" She sighed; she sat at the table and stared at her food in a disturbed way.  Her brother just turned his head.
"Fussy" He mumbled. Kaede heard what he said then stared at him.
"Shut it Sora!" She muttered. She picked up her fork and stabbed into her bacon; she lifted it to her face a took a little bite of it.
"You eat like a cat" Sora said. Kaede stuck her tongue out at him then pushed her chair back so she could get out.
"Aren't you going to finish eating your breakfast?" Her mum asked. Kaede shook her head; she got up, picked up her plate then put it in the kitchen. After, she walked over to her shoes and slid one foot inside her shoe.
"Enjoy your first day at school" Her mum said. Kaede smiled ; nodded as she slid her other foot into her other shoe.
"See ya!" She shouted as she grabbed her bag then ran out the door.


When she arrived at her new school, she saw some people that she already new and a lot of new faces.  One especially caught her eye. A boy. He had dark blue short hair that just reached his dark blue eyes and looked like a cat.
"Do you like Ikuto?" A voice asked. Kaede turned around and saw a girl. She had yellow eyes and light brown hair with a blue ribbon in it.
"N-no" Kaede stuttered as she quickly turned away from the girl and looked at Ikuto who was just leaning against a tree. The girl shrugged her shoulders then ran in front of Kaede so she couldn't see Ikuto.
"I don't blame you if you do," The girl said "Nearly every girl does"  then the girl put her hands on her hips. "But I don't" She shouted. Everyone gazed at her and Kaede especially Ikuto. Kaede looked at him then recognized something floating next to him. When she did, she walked up to Ikuto. The girl just smiled as she watched Kaede walk over to him.
"Um…" She mumbled "What is that floating next to you?" She asked. Ikuto's facial expression suddenly changed.
"You can see Yoru?" He said surprised.
"Yoru?" Kaede answered "Is that his name?" She asked as she stared at him closely. He smiled at her.
"Yeah" Ikuto replied.
"Yo!" Yoru exclaimed as he raised his paw. Kaede smiled.
"Hi" She replied back.
"Does that mean you have-" Ikuto stopped  then started to sniff Kaede. She stepped back a bit then looked confused.
"What are you doing?" She asked. Ikuto suddenly pushed her on the floor went on top of her, still sniffing. Everyone gazed. Kaede turned bright red. Ikuto then put one of his hands in her bag and the other in her dress.
"I-ikuto stop!" Kaede commanded. He pulled his hand out of her bag and in his hand was her 3 eggs.
"Give them back Ikuto!" Kaede shouted "And take your hand out of my dress!"  He took his hand out of her dress then got off of her.
"Hehe you remind me of a girl I know" He smirked as she turned and started to walk into school. Kaede followed him.
"Give me back my eggs even though I don't know what they are" Kaede said. Ikuto stopped; she bumped into him.
"Here" He said as he gave them back "None of them are the embryo anyway" She took them back then stared at him. He stared back.
"What is the embryo?" She asked. He moved his face closer to hers.
"You don't need to know" He smirked. Then he started to walk into the school "Class will start soon," He smiled "You should get going" He said as he walked into the school. Yoru waved then followed him inside. After, Kaede looked at her eggs, which was in her hands she thought about what they'd look like then she put then back in her bag. The girl from before ran up to Kaede with a big smile on her face as she grabbed Kaede's arms.
"It's super rare for someone to speak to him or for him to speak to someone" She explained, jumping up and down "Anyway," She continued "Ikuto is right about one thing and that is we need to get to class before we are late!" She shouted; she grabbed Kaede and ran inside.



"What classroom are you in?"  The girl asked still pulling Kaede by the hand.
"Um…," She mumbled as she tried to remember her schedule "2-c" She said. The girl slowed down and stopped in front of a door that said "2-c"
"Looks like your in the same class as me" The girl grinned as she let go of Kaede's hand and put out her hand.
"Sorry I didn't introduce myself," She apologized "I'm Mikaru Utada" Kaede put out her hand and shook it. "What's yours?" She asked.
"You'll hear what my name is when I introduce myself to the class" Kaede smiled "But right now you better go in before the teacher says your late" Mikaru nodded as she went in. When she did, Kaede could hear mumbling and people talking.
"Good morning class!" A voice shouted from in the class. Everyone went silent "Today we have a new student in our class," She said sounding cheery "Can you come in?" She said. Kaede held her breath for a second then pushed the door open. As she went in, everyone was staring at her. Most of the girls were giving her rude looks because of what happened with Ikuto and some were just staring. Some of the boys grinned while others smiled.  Then she recognized one boy in particular.
"Ikuto," She thought "He's in my class" He just gave her a blank stare; gazed out the window. Then she realised that Mikaru was sitting in front of him. She just smiled at her and she smiled back.
"So why don't you introduce yourself?" The teacher enquired. "My name is Niki but just call me Senpai" She said.  Kaede stared at the teacher then at the class. "Write your name on the board" She said; she passed Kaede the chalk. She took it from the teacher then wrote her name on it. After, she turned to face the class, not knowing what to say.
"What should I say?" She thought "I'm scared to introduce myself" She stood there as still as a statue.
"So your name is Hibiki Kaede?" The teacher asked. Kaede nodded "Ok so tell us about yourself" She said. Kaede still stood there not knowing what to say.
"I want to introduce myself but I'm too scared" She thought.
"Don't be scared," A voice said in her head "Just be yourself" Kaede gazed around the room trying to find who was speaking to her.
"She is going to character change-nya" Yoru whispered to Ikuto. He stopped gazing out the window then faced Kaede.
"A girl that's shy to a girl that isn't," The voice chanted "Character change!" The voice exclaimed. Suddenly cats ears and a tail popped up and her eye colour changed from hazel to green.
"Nice to meet you all," She smiled "I'm Hibiki Kaede and I'm 16 years old and I love to sing and eat fish-nya!" She introduced as she made her hands look like paws. All of a sudden the cat ears and tail disappeared; her eyes turn back to hazel and she just stood there with her hands looking like cat's paws. Everyone started to laugh. Kaede's face turned red.
"W-what happened?" She thought to herself "Why did my body just act on it's own?" She kept asking herself questions that she never knew the answer to.
"Class settle down now," Niki commanded "That was really… Nice Kaede," She stuttered "Why don't you go and sit next to Ikuto at the back" As she walked in between desks, everyone stared and sniggered at her and muttered to others. When I arrived at my desk, she sat down, hang up my bag on the hook;  rested my head on the table.
"Anyway," The teacher interrupted "Today there is going to be musical state fair so we will be learning about music and instruments" She smiled "Does anyone play any type of instrument or loves to sing?" She asked. All the girls stared at Ikuto.
"I'm guessing you play an instrument Ikuto" She said staring at him.  He sighed as he faced the teacher.
"Yeah," He answered.
"Why don't you play it?" She recommended. All the girls turned their chairs around and stared at him. He took out his violin then started to play it. Everyone closed their eyes as they heard him play. Kaede stared at him in amazement; he carried on playing.
"That song," She thought "I know that song" She said to herself.
"So why don't you sing along to it?" Another voice said.  Kaede looked around again until she saw one of the eggs come out of her bag and float in front of her. Suddenly it started to crack.
"The egg is hatching" Kaede said surprised. Yoru glanced over at Kaede as the egg burst open. There was a little character that wore a white dress with black musical notes on it, like on her egg. She had long white socks on with little black shoes and her light brown hair was out and was long; she had a big musical note hair band in her hair.
"Kaede why don't you sing along to it" She said. Kaede stared at her in amazement.
"So is this what Amu was talking about" Kaede muttered to herself.
"I'm Melody," She smiled "Your Shugo Chara"
"My would be self… right?" She asked
"Yeah," She replied "… Character change!" She suddenly shouted out.  The hair band that was in Kaede's hair changed into the same musical note that was in Melody's hair.
"Lalala uta wo utaou kao age kokoro no mama, utaou, akirame ja ikenai dekinai koto nande nai yuuki no uta, dare ni mo makenai" She sang. Everyone stared at Kaede looking surprised then they all smiled. Ikuto smiled; he closed his eyes and carried on playing. Melody sang along as well as she sat on Kaede's shoulder. "Yume ga aru arukidasou mune hatte watashi dake no michi ga aru shinjiru no saho n at sa, dakai yama ga ja noshite mo ganbatte nori koe yo watashi ni nara dekiru sa kiseki oko so"  The musical note off of Kaede's hair band vanished and then Kaede saw everyone was staring at her. Ikuto stopped playing; stared at her with a smile on his face. She saw him staring at her from the corner of her eye then she looked at him; smiled back. Melody smiled as well.
"Bravo you two!" Niki cheered as she clapped. The class done the same even though they were all happy and cheering, she saw a few girls still looking jealous and muttering to each other about her "Ok class turn back around and face me" The class turned all their chairs back around the face the front. Kaede just sighed.
